Frequently Asked Questions
What is AircraftCloud?
AircraftCloud is cloud-native aviation software that brings CAMO, MRO, materials management, SMS/QMS and flight data monitoring (FDM) into one platform. It is built for airlines, MROs and CAMO organisations that want to replace spreadsheets and legacy systems with a single source of truth for airworthiness, maintenance and safety data.
Who uses AircraftCloud aviation software?
AircraftCloud is used by commercial and regional airlines, startup carriers, independent CAMO providers, engine and component MROs, and specialised operators. Customers include a regional carrier flying the A320 and COMAC ARJ, a startup airline running A330s and A320s, an independent CAMO in Australia, and an ATR 72-600 operator in Nigeria.
Can we use only the modules we need?
Yes. AircraftCloud is modular. You can start with a single module, such as CAMO or FDM, and add MRO, materials, or SMS/QMS later without changing platforms or migrating data again.
How long does it take to implement AircraftCloud?
Most implementations take weeks, not months, because no servers or local installation are needed. For example, a full A320 data import was completed in 2 weeks, and Pioneer Airlines went live on CAMO and Materials in about 14 weeks while its AOC was still being approved.
Who handles data migration from our legacy system or spreadsheets?
AircraftCloud’s in-house team handles configuration, aircraft data loading, template creation and user setup. Your engineers review the configuration as it is built, so they can stay focused on daily operations instead of vendor setup work.
Can AircraftCloud run alongside our existing system during the switch?
Yes. AircraftCloud supports phased rollouts, module by module or aircraft by aircraft. You can run it in parallel with your legacy system until your team is confident to switch over fully.
What support does AircraftCloud provide?
Every customer gets a dedicated implementation manager from contract signature to go-live. After that, 24/7 support is handled by people with real aviation experience, not chatbots. Onsite support is available for training and go-live, and structured ticketing with SLA tracking is available if you prefer it.
How often is the system updated or improved?
Does AircraftCloud integrate with other software?
Is AircraftCloud secure?
How is a cloud-native platform different from hosted or web-enabled legacy systems?
Unlike traditional systems that are simply hosted on cloud servers or accessed via remote desktop (RDP), AircraftCloud is built from the ground up as a cloud-native platform. This means it’s optimized for performance, scalability, security, and real-time access, without the heavy infrastructure, VPN dependencies, or outdated interfaces of legacy software. Users can access the system from any device, receive instant updates, and benefit from seamless integrations and high availability by design, not by workaround.
How AircraftCloud Uses AI—Responsibly and Securely
AircraftCloud leverages AI to enhance decision-making, not replace it. Our AI tools are purpose-built for aviation, focusing on improving operational efficiency, reducing risk, and surfacing actionable insights across maintenance, safety, and inventory.
We understand that aviation demands precision, traceability, and data integrity. That’s why AircraftCloud is designed to keep your data secure, auditable, and compliant with industry standards.
What does AircraftCloud CAMO software do?
AircraftCloud CAMO manages approved maintenance programmes (AMPs), AD/SB/EO compliance, component life tracking, maintenance forecasting, defects and digital technical records in one platform. Live dashboards and automated alerts show what is due across the fleet, so planners can act before tasks become overdue.
Can AircraftCloud manage a mixed fleet or multiple operators?
Yes. AircraftCloud handles variant-specific configurations and tracks life limits in hours, cycles and calendar days across different aircraft types. Independent CAMOs use it to manage multiple operators with different compliance requirements from one system.
How does AircraftCloud MRO software reduce turnaround time?
AircraftCloud MRO connects quotations, check planning, rostering, parts and tools, and non-routine approvals in one workflow. Capacity boards and what-if planning help remove bottlenecks before a check starts, and airline customers can approve non-routine cards online instead of by email.
What does AircraftCloud flight data monitoring (FDM) software do?
AircraftCloud FDM decodes data from FDR, QAR and FDAU sources, automatically detects exceedances, and shows trends in FOQA dashboards. It includes report templates for DGCA, EASA and FAA, and links flight events to safety investigations in the SMS module.
Does AircraftCloud include an aviation safety management system (SMS)?
Yes. The SMS/QMS module covers occurrence reporting, hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA), investigations, audits, corrective actions and safety performance monitoring. It is designed to support ICAO, EASA and FAA safety management requirements.
